Tube Dusseldorf 2004 and worldwide virus problem
It's this time once again: Tube Dusseldorf is about to start. I look forward for this event since it has
been pretty slow within Tube and Pipe Industry during last 6 months. Generally speaking. Tube
Dusseldorf could be such a thing that could give ignition for the Industry - At least in Europe
Afraid visuses? Relax, TubeNet Inquiry is safest you can get
If you receive an inquiry from anybody today, it can include a virus. Why is that?
Virus programs are taking any possible email address and put them to sender
of email and target can be you. So, if you have received emails with virus attachments
claiming that the sender is TubeNet, it is a fake. It just means that someone who has both your and my email
addresses on his computer has been hit by a virus. This virus then uses all email
addresses that it can find from that computer and tries to spread itself further.
If you are registered to TubeNet as a member, you can feel safe since an email being sent via
this register cannot contain viruses. It doesn't allow use of attachments and all code that is written is scanned from non-safe marks. (If you are programmer, I can explain how it is done...) Anyway, I can say...It is bullet proof.
Cheers,
Juha
