It's bad to be sick
I am sick when writing this and it hurts! Many of you may have noticed that I took a week off and went for holidays.
What happened - I became sick on the second day. I had great plans to do cross-country-skiing a lot during the week but
the result was opposite. Thanks to good friends, it didn't felt that bad after all. Päivi, Matti, Jari and Markku : Thank you for this
week with you!
There are some other things though that makes me happy. One is traffic at TubeNet which keeps going up constantly. New record was
made during March 2005: Over 70,000 visitors making more than One Million hits within just one month. Anybody can understand
that within our relatively small business segment (Tubes & Pipes) those are big numbers. I feel now that with 10 years with
TubeNet, it is okay and deserved. TubeNet has made it's place within our industry.
To keep things updated
I have started a project to go through the TubeNet registers and make necessary updates when needed. If you read this,
I advice you to make sure that your details are updated also. With expired email address you will miss many leads!
Your Firewall & virus scanner
A note for all members: Please make sure that your firewall will not block leads that are coming from TubeNet. I have
to use a fake sender's name with every lead because of spamming and if your firewall is checking it to figure
out if "Tubenet" is a spammer, so your sales lead may get removed also. So always make sure that @tubenet.org,
@tubenet.org.uk and @tubenet.us emails will go through.
Cheers my friends
Juha
