Viking Blast & Wash Systems announces the release of their newest pipe and rod blaster the SR-12P. This machine can clean a wide variety of materials, from fractional diameter up to 12-inch diameter pipe to an SSPC-6 surface finish on a continuous flow basis. The SR-12P utilizes two 15 HP VC-1 direct drive blast wheels. This dual wheel design allows for an abrasive blast zone of six feet, maximizing efficiency and dramatically increasing work speed. Rugged and durable construction with a complete 1/2" thick cast chrome/moly lining protects the blast cabinet from abrasive wear, ensuring long life and low maintenance. The skew roll conveyor system handles the pipe or rod through the blast chamber on precision cast chrome "V" groove parts rollers. Tightly sealed isolation vestibules buffer the workspace from errant abrasive. Dust evacuation systems keep the blasted material clean and the work environment dust-free. Entrance and exit conveyors are available, as well as many other options to increase production and provide you with the best cleaning process for your application.
