New 3D Tube Bending Simulation Software for Windows from TubeExpert

NEW: TubeExpert BendSim

High-Precision Virtual Reality Bending Simulation now available at low cost for Windows on PCs!

(See Bendsim graphics at www.TubeExpert.com or download the trial version from there) Bendsim simulates tube bending processes in high precision

  • without operating the physical machine
  • without having to produce tools
  • without being at the physical machine
You just enter XYZ's or LRA's into the program running on your desktop-computer, notebook or bending machine PC.

This new TubeExpert product has been introduced at Tube 2000, April 2000, in Düsseldorf/Germany at the booths of several bending machine manufacturers. There are 2 versions:

  1. Bendsim Standard Automatic collision control shows colliding parts graphically: the machine stops automatically, as soon as a collision has been detected.
  2. Bendsim Light Simpler version without automatic collision control for the experienced user (visual control only)
Included are the following features:
  • Precise programming of the bending machine
  • Automatic collision detection (not in BendSim Light)
  • Easy to use Microsoft Windows user interface (no training necessary)
  • Tube defined via XYZ- or LRA-data
  • Tube shown in 3D while entering data
  • Tube and machine can be viewed from any angle
  • Creation of CNC bending program using machine manufacturers' standards
  • Existing toolset geometry can easily be entered by the user
  • Possibility to define multilevel toolstack geometry and to bend in different levels
  • Automatic calculation of production time, minimum tube length, cut lengths as well as optimising weld seam position
  • User can change or add simulated geometry
No additional costs: All bending tools are parametrically defined. Therefore they can very easily be altered by the producer and user of a bending machine.

Likewise the machine geometry can be modified to allow for any changes in design compared to the machine already specified in the program. This can be accomplished with a 3D CAD system with DXF output.

Therefore, after installation no further service or assistance is required. There are no service or license fees.
