New Collaring Machine S-54

T-DRILL has been manufacturing collaring machines for A/C and Automotive applications for 25 years. During this time we have learned a lot of the technology that the collaring process involves.

Since the first industrial collaring machine, SA-50, we have developed models such as S-55 and S-20. Model S-55 was introduced year 1989. This machine was a perfect choise when the collar diameters were larger than 3/8" (9.5 mm). Soon we noticed that the industry required also a solution, that is able to make good quality small collars. For this call T-DRILL developed a model S-20 and it was introduced year 1992. S-20 was also the first servo based collaring machine and turned out to be a superior solution for collars 1/4" - 7/8" (6 - 22mm).

What our R&D departement has been working out last two years is to combine the good features from S-55 and S-20. Now we are proud to introduce the result: Automatic servo based collaring machine is S-54.

S-54 is able to provide good quality small collars like old S-20 did. It also can handle larger collars up to 2 1/8" (54 mm) which was the strength of old S-55. We therefore have a reason to believe that our new S-54 Automatic Collaring Machine can meet most of the requirements that exist on A/C and Automotive applications.

Like with S-20 and S-55, our new S-54 is available also with Manual Feed Table for header manufacturers.
