New 25 mm CNC tube bender includes unique features

Eagle-Eaton Leonard recently announced the introduction of a new 25 mm capacity CNC tube bender. Manufactured to world standards, the extra performance VB 25 XP includes several features for quick setup, fast changeover and easy operation. Typical applications include automotive air conditioning and fuel lines, aircraft tubes and HVAC tubing.

Several standard features are incorporated in the VB 25 XP. A unique reversible bend head enables easy changeover for clockwise or counterclockwise bending for extra flexibility. Advanced design of this new bender incorporates electric servo motor technology on all axes for maximum performance and reliability. Also standard are precision linear bearings on the pressure die, follower slide and centerline radius for easy adjustment and dependable operation. Mechanical readouts on the pressure die, clamp die and centerline radius simplify tooling setup and changeover.

Construction highlights include Eagle-Eaton Leonard's patented, parallel link-driven bend arm for reliable production and maximum part to machine clearance. Further, a innovative, constant force, drop away clamp die actuator ensures consistent part quality and reduced set-up time

Machine programming and monitoring are easily accomplished through the adEPT touch screen graphical user interface. This advanced control uses easy to understand tube-bending icons displayed on a high-resolution color monitor.

The VB 25 XP is offered with a broad selection of accessories for quick setup, changeover and maximum throughput. Typical accessories include a patented headshifter for stacked tooling applications, programmable position or pressure settings and automatic loading/unloading devices.
