New Electric End Forming Machine From Eagle-Eaton Leonard

Eagle-Eaton Leonard recently introduced a new tube endforming machine capable of sizing and forming tubing through 82mm diameter. The new endformer incorporates all electric drives for clean, quiet and efficient operation. Brushless servo motors for all machine motions ensure exceptional repeatability and reliability.

New electric I/O 3000 endformer

Key features of the new electric I/O 3000 endformer include quick change, drop-in tooling, digital stroke adjustment for easy setup, automatic tooling setup to the saved sizing data and an advanced N/C control. In addition, over-expansion and under-reduction capability provides additional tolerance accuracy and control for consistent, repeatable part quality.

A commercially available programmable logic touch screen control provides menu-driven programs and prompts the operator through the easy set-up process. The control stores part shape data for many parts so setup and adjustments are quickly performed by entering the part number.
