Defectotest DS 2000 Test Instrument

Advances in automation demand test instruments which can be integrated without problems in data networks of production and quality assurance systems even in the sector of non-destructive testing in the metallurgical and metalworking industry.

FOERSTER's electromagnetic test methods in particular meet these requirements as they can be automated easily. A new generation of DEFECTOTEST DS 2000 instruments now incorporates interfaces which allow you to logically combine various sub-tasks in the test sequence, such as test job control with related test parameter setting, signal generation, signal conditioning and test evaluation in conjunction with line control, test documentation, long-term documentation and instrument servicing in the data network, and also to make these sub-tasks available at different locations. This provides transparency as demanded by ISO 9000!

The new eddy-current test instruments DEFECTOMAT DS with encircling through-type coils and CIRCOGRAPH DS with rotating sensors will be presented at the Wire and Tube 2000 trade fairs in Germany (booth: hall 10 C 05 and hall 4 A 31). These instruments will work within a FOERSTER network and together with another DEFECTOMAT DS on the booth of an important Swiss tube manufacturer.
