This machine is designed as a working station for cutting and machining sections of steel tubes or rods of various sizes, inside and outside. Unlike other systems available on the market, this machine features mechanically driven movements, and fully computerized controls. Diameter of the tubes can be from 10 to 180 mm and wall thickness from minimum 0,5 mm up to max. 20 mm. Unlike most of the systems available in the market, the main feature of this machine is the possibility of cutting portions of tube, and machining the two ends inside and outside in the same time, for example chamfering. Cutting and machining are done on line, thus obtaining a clean work-piece that does not need any "second operation". This results in a drastic reduction of production cycle times. The machine can process tubes/rods of different materials, such as normal steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium, plastic, timber, etc. Beside cutting, various other operations can be carried out, such as deburring, trimming, chamfering (which can be a single or double-angle chamfering), recessing, etc.

Advantages of the ROTOMAX:
1.High quality and precision of the cutting and machining operations are guaranteed by the mechanically driven movements, the computerized controls, the repeatability of constant working parameters.
2.The tube is blocked and clamped into the mandrel, while is the tool that rotates. This ensures very low noise, very reduced vibrations, and high working speed.
3.Cutting and machining operations are always done in line, in a single cycle. This means concentricity of all the different operations, and, as a consequence, high quality and precision of the work-piece.
4.The high degree of automation means a drastic reduction of the setting time, when shifting from one production to another. Actually the only component that has to be changed manually is the fixed clamp of the mandrel. This operation is not even necessary when the change of production is within the same diameter of tube.
