BendPro CNC Networks with Measuring Machines
Current Tech has introduced a new software feature for the BendPro CNC bender control that allows for direct network communications with measuring machines. The feature allows the control to accept corrected bend data from measuring machines made by other companies such as Multi Systems and Romer. Measuring machines can now measure a bent tube and send the corrected data directly to the bender control, thus automating the corrections loop. This process improves on accuracy and increases production for the tube fabricator. In addition, master shape geometry and bending machine setup data can also be transferred bi-directionally between measuring machines and the BendPro CNC control, creating 'off line' programming and remote part data storage capabilities. Based on the Microsoft Windows NT operating system, the BendPro CNC control's inherit networking capabilities allow for effortless and efficient communications with office networks, measuring machines, and the internet.
BendPro CNC controls that are already in the field can be automatically updated with the new software release. No additional hardware is required.
