New Manager for Sandvik Steel's Tube & Pipe Division

Sandvik Steel has appointed Mr Peter Gossas as Manager of the company's Tube & Pipe Division, with effect from June 5, 2001. At the same time he has been appointed Vice President for AB Sandvik Steel.

Mr Gossas, who holds a Master of Science in Engineering Physics, has an extensive background in the steel industry. He has worked for SSAB, from 1974 -1986, and has held various positions at the former Avesta Sheffield, now AvestaPolarit – most recently as Senior Vice President KBR and Site Manager Avesta.
