Warren MI: Dave McBride has been appointed business planning manager for TI Automotive Systems, according to Daniel E. Cook, TI Automotive's global commercial director.

McBride's responsibilities include strategic coordination of business unit operations for organization, development marketing and analysis. He will be based in Auburn Hills, MI, and will report directly to Cook.

He previously was plant manager of TI Automotive Coldwater, MI, Plant. He joined TI Automotive in 1990 as controller of its Cynthiana, KY, plant and later transferred to Greenville, TN as part of a plant start-up team. At Cynthiana, he held position as controller, materials manager and production manager.

McBride holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and Master's degree in business administration. Both from Eastern Kentucky University. He began his career with Sherwin Williams Automotive Plant in Richmond, KY.

He will reside in Auburn Hills with his wife and two sons.
