W&P WOLF&Partner GmbH delivers "ILA-4" model to South African firm
In February the firm W&P WOLF&Partner GmbH completed an „ILA-4" apparatus for the flux-free induction brazing needs of a South African firm.
The brazing machine will be employed for the flux-free joining of steel ring-pieces, nipples, and muffs with steel tubes measuring 10 x 1, as well as for welded bracket/tube assemblages of steel with the same measurements.
The brazing of the ring-pieces, nipples, and muffs is carried out with straight tubes which can be between 66mm and 1000mm long. Brazing the bracket/tube assemblages is carried out on bent tubes upon which brackets have been welded.
The machine „ILA-2" consists of a workstation with three brazing stations, high frequency generators (type HFG 10; each with one inductor output), a suction unit, and a cooling unit.
Each of the three brazing stations are mounted on the workstation. Two of these are for the brazing of the tube/fitting assemblages (ring-piece, nipple, or muff). The third device is for brazing the brackets. Each of the brazing devices are mounted separately on their own frame.
Since 1992 W&P WOLF&Partner GmbH has been designing and constructing manual to fully-automatic installations, serving in flux-free industrial joining and other production processes around the world. Many of these production solutions will be exhibited at the „Löt '01" international colloquium from May 8-10, 2001 in Essen, Germany.
