Monterrey, Mexico, August 2, 2001. TUBACERO, S.A. de C.V. announced today it has completed an urgent order from GLOBAL OFFSHORE to supply 10 kilometers of 24" OD x 0.688", Grade API 5L, X52 GA (Sour Gas Service) line pipe to be installed offshore Campeche Bay to interconnect PEMEX offshore platforms KU-H/HU-M to KU-A in the Cantarel field.

Responding to GLOBAL OFFSHORE project needs, TUBACERO manufactured and supplied the stringent sour gas service line pipe within a short 6 weeks delivery time. GERMANISCHER LLOYD inspected and certified fabrication quality.

Tubacero, founded in 1943, offers its customers pipe from 6 5/8" to 30" ERW and 18" to 48" DSAW in continuous rolling mills and 20" to 150" DSAW in pyramidal forming.
