The Thermatool Group has announced record sales of its solid state tube and pipe welding units. Since the start of the new millennium, a total of forty-two welders ranging in size from 50 to 500 Kw have been sold to tube and pipe producers in seventeen countries worldwide.

Sales to twelve of these producers were repeat sales, among them the ninth units to both the Brasilian and Japanese mill builders Zikeli and Mori Machinery Corp. Ninth units were also sold to Shape Corp. and another major U.S. automotive tube producer, and a seventh unit was purchased by P.T. Bumi Kaya Steel Industries in Indonesia.

Commscope in the USA also purchased their fifth unit, and Mill Masters (USA), the automotive radiator mill supplier, purchased their fourth solid state welder.
