SMT Industries, already well known for their dedicated tube benders and special machines, is now entering the CNC tube bender rebuilding business. They will be doing complete machine rebuilding and Control retrofits for CNC Tube Benders, Tube Benders, and Pipe Benders, including equipment originally manufactured by Eaton - Leonard, Pines, Conrac, Clark & Lewis, Wallace, PHI, Addison, Coast, and others.

SMT will offer the new BENDERPRO CNC software developed exclusively for SMT Industries by Mike Cone of Advanced Tubular Technologies, Inc. as part of their controls retrofit package. Mike Cone and Advanced Tubular Technologies, Inc. are well known for their TubeCad, TubeCalc, and Benderlink products. The new software was developed in partnership with SMT.

"We were looking for someone to rebuild a bender for our use, and couldn't get it done the way we wanted, so we did it ourselves", said Ron Duval, President of SMT, "and decided that it was a market need SMT was perfectly suited to fill".
