Haven Manufacturing Corporation has secured a contract to provide LTV Copperweld / Automotive Group Canadian Operations with a fully integrated system that incorporates multi station processes and automated transfer operations. The turn-key system will feature: automatic loading of master length tubes, dual-blade shear cutting, automatic transfer to end chamfering, 100% length and straightness checking, tube washing and robotic packaging with an ABB Flex Tube System. The integrated system is scheduled for installation at the LTV / Copperweld, Woodstock, Ontario facility in October of 2001.
