Eaton Leonard and Robolix s.a. create new company
CARLSBAD, CA - July 12, 2000
Eaton Leonard, an Eagle Precision Technologies Inc company, and Robolix, a French manufacturer of innovative tube forming equipment recently signed an agreement to create a new joint venture company specializing in the design and manufacture of tube forming machines for tubes less than 45 millimeters in diameter.
The new company, Eaton Leonard Robolix will design and manufacture a comprehensive line of tube & wire manipulation equipment including CNC tube benders, CNC wire benders, tube end forming machines, tube measuring systems and complete integrated tube forming cells.
James Sabine, VP, Sales & Service for Eagle Precision Technologies stated "This partnership will allow us to exploit the combined technologies of Eaton Leonard and Robolix to offer a broader range of products with leading edge technology into the markets for small diameter tube and wire forming worldwide."

Design and manufacturing facilities for Eaton Leonard Robolix equipment are located in Cologne, France and Carlsbad, CA. Sales and service for Eaton Leonard Robolix products will be handled through the existing Eagle Precision Technologies Sales & Service organization in North America, Asia, the United Kingdom, and by the existing Robolix organization in Europe.
Founded in 1982, Robolix rapidly made a name in high production tube manipulation equipment for the automotive market. Eaton Leonard, established in 1973, is a leading worldwide supplier of CNC tube bending, measuring equipment and bender tooling.
