FABTECH MILESTONES and 20-YEAR EXHIBITORS

1981 FABTECH International debuts in Cleveland on Sept. 14.
1983 FABTECH moves to Chicago.
1985 Net square feet and number of attendees nearly doubles after just two shows.
1987 FABTECH gains Tradeshow 200 status.
1989 Tube & Pipe Pavilion introduced.
1991 FABTECH celebrates ten successful years.
1993 Attendance tops 20,000 for the first time.
1995 FABTECH exhibit space sell out for the first time. PRESSTECH Pavilion introduced.
1997 FABTECH outgrows Rosemont and moves to McCormick Place. Welding Pavilion introduced.
1998 The first even-year FABTECH is held in Cleveland.
1999 Largest FABTECH ever - more than 30,000 attendees from around the world.
2000 FABTECH returns to Cleveland - more square feet, exhibitors, and attendees than the '98 show.
2001 20TH Anniversary edition ...
