Indeed..I am having summer holiday. Is it holiday for me? I don't know about holiday because
I am thinking of re-programming the back-bone of TubeNet. Until now it has been
Turbo-pascal program that has been handeled all your postings. What I hope, soon there
will be a Delphi program that does it much easily way. Those who don't know about Turbo-
Pascal or Delphi I wish to tell that they are those best programming environments that
exist. Personally, I will never program with Microsoft's products. I just hate the situation
as it is presently sith the software market. If you are in a position of deciding with your
computings, I hope you will choose anything else exept Microsoft.
Indonesia is a question mark though, because there it was so deep crash
of the economy. The good sings from Thailand have been
seen already. Philippines did quite well during SE-Asia recession
and my guess is that the good track will continue.
Keeping this all in mind, Tube Singapore Exhibition may be a good choice
on October for the Tube & Pipe Industry.
In Europe it's strange. Some recent news are saying that
in Germany it's not going too well, but from my point of view,
tube related investments are increasing. I am confused by that.
Poland seems to be on the right track. Foreign investments to
Poland are increasing due to lower labor cost as well as steady
political and economical structure. I expect to see our industry related
news from Poland more often.
One point from Mediterranean: Egypt. As I see, Egypt has more potential than
many of it's surrounding areas. But be careful with the bureaucracy.
Depending on the customer, with Egypt it can be extremely complicated.
(Based on my real experience).
USA then, from my (European) point of view the activity is also
higher in US when compared to the same time an year ago. Not as high
as it was during January-March, but still continuing strong.
Feel free to send me messages what you are thingking. What we need

is here for spreading information on our Industry and I am
listening carefully what you are saying.
Finally, a word for the near future on TubeNet. I will be making a
trip to Portugal and Spain on June 5 - 11. This means that during
that time there will be no updates on TubeNet. After that, we will have
re-programed backbone of TubeNet-engine. Updates and postings will be
handled much faster after that.
