Back from Fabtech, Chicago! Nice meeting some of you guys there and thanks for the ideas for improving TubeNet.

The first change you have found already - The listings have been separated into two sections: "Premier List" and "Open List". This, because some of the lists are getting really long and more often I have received inquiries such as "How to get my posting to the top". From now on you can! There is a small registration fee for this service which is intended to limit the number of postings to the "Permier List". The "Open List" is still free for everyone to join.

Another change will soon appear as well. The postings to Wanted/Searching lists will be going directly to TubeNet Mailing list. After that these list will also be appearing to all TubeNet visitors.

For your information. You may not know but the number hits on "Product News" is one of the best on TubeNet. If I were you the free posting there would not be too bad idea :)

What comes to the shows within our industry, the following main event will be ASHRAE-98 on January 17-21, 1998 in San Francisco and Tube-98 on March 20-24, 1998 in Dusseldorf.

This will be the last Editors Page on year 1997 and therefore I want to wish Merry X-Mas and Happy New year for all of you TubeNet visitors! The Year-98 will bring more new material to TubeNet and hopefully this all will be helpful. Thank you.
