Dear TubeNet visitor,

You may have noticed that recently during weekends the tubenet URL http://www.tubenet.base.org has been sometimes down. The reason for that is with Monolith, the URL forwarding service, who is having problems with their system.

In case this URL is not working, you can still reach tubenet from the following two URL:s

http://www.walli.uwasa.fi/~jhaapala/http://www.tubenet.org.uk/tubenet.html

and

http://window.to/tubenet

First one is the physical location of the site and second is another forwarding URL. In case Monolith is not able to solve their problems, I will find a better and more reliable URL. Note! This problem doesn't effect to search engines because they are registering the real URL:s.

IMTS-98 starts on September 9 and exhibitors are backing their things for traveling to Chicago. I will not be there, but I hope that those who will go there will have a good show.

IMTS (The International Manufacturing Technology) is a huge show and attracts also international visitors. Be sure you will have a pair of good shoes there, but never use brand new. I have made that mistake once and will remember that always.

Also EURO-Blech 98 in Hannover comes up soon. It will be held on October 20-24. Even if it's a special show for sheet metal fabricators, there is also a tube and pipe area. Two years ago there were quite nice traffic during three first days.
