It's Midsummer here in Finland once again and we can enjoy about midnight sunshine. For me this is the best time of the year and this time I will also spend some two weeks vacation starting from the Midsummer. This time I have not planned anything special unless you want to call George Thorogood and Destroyers and AC/DC's concert something special. Anyhow, I will join to this concert in Helsinki.

How is Tube and Pipe markets doing now in June 2001? From my Tube Machinery sales point of view the first 4 months of this year were very good. Then we started to see how the slow period of US came to picture and it seems to effect a little also to European sales. I am delighted to notice though that activity in Asia is increasing week after week.

Another matter that makes me happy is that at you guys are visiting so often to TubeNet. Few times the weekly hits have gone over 3000 - Meaning that on monthly level some 12000 hits starts to be normal. When knowing how narrow tube and pipe sector is, these are nice figures.

But now, when writing this it is June 22:th and the big Midsummer festival is about to start here. This means that for two days this country is definitely having fun. And yes, you got it right, I am also going to have some beer today.
