ABANTE Automation Inc. WT-120 Tube Weld Inspection is a high speed 3D laser-vision inspection system capable of inspecting welds on tubes either outside or inside with a minimum inside diameter of 380mm. Typical weld bead to be inspected is 30mm wide. Maximum scanning speed is 0.5m/sec. Besides welding defects such as undercuts, blow holes and porosity, it measures the weld bead height and width. It also to detect other defects such as mismatch. Sensors operate up to 3840 profiles per second each. I is needed to trigger the profile acquisition every 0.13 mm regardless of the inspection speed up to a maximum of 0.5m/sec.
