Kent Corporation has introduced a full line of scarfing tools for the removal of O.D. and I.D. bead from welded tube. The new line of products includes several grades of carbide specifically designed for the high heat environment associated with the high frequency welding of tube. The product line includes 4 and 6-sided OD tools as well as half moon rings. ID and other cutting inserts can also be made with the new carbide grades and special coatings for increased life.
