Tru-Cut Saw of Brunswick, Ohio has developed a new style of carbide tipped saw blades to cut light and heavy gauge tubes. The saw blade has a new "hook" style tooth form that helps reduce the chip load from tooth to tooth. We also add a multi layer of PVD coating to the finished saw to protect the cutting edge. Tru-Cut Saw has tested the new cold saw at a major tube manufacture and the results are as follows. Standard blade 15" x 60T 8" x 8" x 1/2" wall Blade speed 900 sfpm (229 rpm) Total material cut 13 sq ft. (1,872 sq in.) New style blade 15" x 60T 8" x 8" x 1/2" Blade speed 1200 sfpm (305 rpm) Total material cut 14.5 sq ft. (2,088 sq in) This new style of saw will allow our customers produce more pipe with less down time from blade changes.
