Aristo Machines Inc., an Indianapolis-based company providing tube end forming systems, has announced the addition of the following new team members:
Don Leonhard as Vice President of Engineering. Don has extensive background in mechanical engineering. He was Chief Engineer at J.D. Gould Company, Inc. and Development Engineer at NIBCO. He has a BSME from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. He has been active with the Solenoid Valve Section of the Fluid Control Institute (FCI). Don will be responsible for the Engineering function, managing it consistent with Aristos business priorities in meeting specific customer requirements and long-term business goals.
Francis Zhang as a System Design Engineer. Francis has an extensive background in mechanical engineering with particular experience in tube bending systems. He has worked for Pines Manufacturing and Adaptive Motion in the design and build of their tube bending machines. Francis had formal academic training in his native China and later supplemented that with a degree from the University of Akron. In his new role, Francis will have engineering responsibility for complete hydraulic forming systems.
James Allman as Controls Technician. James has an extensive background in electrical and software engineering, (from hands on system build as well as management experience). He has a BSEE from Tri-State University and is an accredited Professional Engineer in the State of Indiana in Electrical Engineering. He has extensive programming & operating system as well as hardware background. In his new role, James will work on the designing & building machine control systems on standard machines, as well as working with engineering on the development of new and custom systems that integrate new technologies.
Tracy Woodall as Tool Design Engineer. Tracy brings an extensive background as a Tool Engineer (Britt Tool in Brazil, IN, and Hittle Machine & Tool in Indianapolis). He is an Associate Professor at Vincennes University and has taught classes in drafting and CAD, as well as in jig & fixture design. In his new role, Tracy will work on the detailed design of the tooling for Aristo machines (both standard and custom applications).
