Roll-Kraft announces that Mr. Bret Molnar, Roll-Kraft Engineer, has successfully completed the Metallurgy Certificate Program sponsored by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and has received SMEs highest recognition for metallurgy professionals.
Mr. Molnar is the first of the Roll-Kraft engineers to complete this program and is part of Roll-Krafts endeavor to maintain a highly trained professional staff to meet the varied needs of customers worldwide. The program involved training in several areas, including the properties and microstructure of metals and their alloys, specifications of durability of alloys, modes of damage, origin of flaws and types of nonconformances in engineering applications of alloys, failure modes in terms of causes and characteristics, and many other related topics. Mr. Molnar will use this knowledge to increase the capability of identifying reasons for defects and failure potentials of the various metals involved in tube and pipe and roll forming processes, and thereby advising customers regarding the design of tooling that would minimize these issues.
