ECI has rebuilt hundreds of RF output transformers originally manufactured by Thermatool, Westinghouse, Tocco, and others over the past 15 years and is pleased to announce that we have just shipped our second rebuilt Emmedi RF transformer. Failed units are completely stripped and thoroughly inspected. Primary and secondary water passages are cleaned before being both flow and pressure tested. Repairs are made where warranted and additional cleaning undertaken if required. Any questionable parts are replaced and re-assembled units are then potted and cured. Completed transformers are again flow and pressure tested, high-pot tested, then operated at full rated input power. Typical turn-around time is seven to ten days but rush orders are accepted.
