ARLA offers updates for the models of the industry proven concentric workholding systems ("ARLA Clamping Device"). The new series cover a maximum diameter range in the following steps: 1/2", 1", 2", 3", 4", 5", 6", 8", 10", 12", 14", 16". It is easy to reduce a diameter by changing the jaw sets. The units have been redesigned are even stronger. High clamping forces and very short clamping times are crucial to realize a powerful machining process (like turning, boring, facing, threading, chamfering, deburring or milling). The units work on the basis of a mechanical clamping technology; the actuation is either manual, pneumatic, or hydraulic. The larger units (> 8") are only available as hydraulically actuated workholding systems. Furthermore ARLA offers complete endworking, end preparation, and end finishing solutions (1-, 2-station-systems) based on accurate ARLA machining units (HSK spindle units, servomotor driven).
