Steel tubing manufacturer looking for an experienced Production Manager to manage 1-2 departments responsible for:
Roll forming, high frequency welding (HFW), tube mills
A cold drawing process which involves annealing, chemically treating and straightening, Cutting and chamfering processes where we make shock absorber, bushing, exhaust, steering, impact beam, etc. tubing, and a variety of support departments including waste water, quality lab, shipping, stores/tool room, maintenance, machining, safety, training and scheduling all indirectly related.

The right candidate will have at minimum the following qualifications:

1) B.S. degree in Engineering, business management, industrial technology, etc.

2) 5+ years experience in a tube making company as a production engineer, process engineer, etc. specialized in ERW(HFW) processes.

3) 5+ years experience in the automotive industry

4) 5+ years production management experience

5) Energy and excitement, great communications ability, computer skills especially experience with an ERP program, experience with QS 9000 or above, a very strong safety record, etc.



Prefer candidate with Tier 1 automotive experience and experience with HFW tube mill process.
