The holiday season started and it's time for the industry to relax and get strength for the coming fall. In Eurozone the European Central Bank (ECB) gave yesterday (August 7, 2003) first positive news about econimical recovery since last December. They continued that the interest rates are just right level at this moment and inflation is expected to remain about 2% or slightly less. This is good news for Eurozone.

Email SPAM problem

The email Spamming is getting real problem now. More than half of email messages that I receive are some kind of spam. I believe that I am not alone with this problem.

Here is something that you may find helpful: FOXMAIL email client. It has helped me a lot. Not only it eliminates most of the virus problems that exist with Outlook, but it is a good tool to deal with spam emails.

With it you can check the emails you are to receive but are still on the sever. You can then select emails that you want to get and delete those what you know that are spam for sure. Also viruses, since the download size is shown and if it is more than 100 K, it is most likely virus.

In this way the number of emails that you are actually downloading is much smaller than without this function. In my case I erase about 90% of spams on server and don't waste time downloading them at all. I have been using Foxmail since last November when I noticed it got five stars from ZDNet. Now I wouldn't change back to Eudora or Outlook.

Funny thing with this Foxmail is that it is made in China. But don't let this concern you. The product works.
